The MCMC leadership and field management staff meet this week for our regularly occurring monthly staff workshop. Among the many items on the agenda are the upcoming site visits that will be conducted by our M&E and Case Management staff members. These visits should be greeted by your affiliates in a positive manner as they are meant to be supportive of your efforts and in preparation for the eventual closure of the MCMC program. We hope that you will take advantage of the knowledge and passion of these staff members as they seek to meet your needs in the administrative process.

Other topics on our agenda will be to review the most recent reporting that is being produced in the field and to prepare our advocacy efforts moving forward based on the data and stories that you are providing. I cannot overestimate the importance of your work with clients and the documentation that you produce as a result of your interactions. Many times case managers
may miss the relevance of their data entry and reporting. However, I can assure you that the advocacy efforts of the leadership and field management staff to those in positions to consider policy changes, funding requests, etc., would not be possible without your diligence in this area of your work. Finally, our staff will continue to plan for what lies ahead of us in
terms of programmatic and financial closure, audits and any other visits that we might receive from federal and/or state officials and representatives. I want to encourage you to continue to produce high quality case management results by focusing on the work you are doing with clients.

We have a lot more work to do, and I know that each of you wants to see this work of recovery through to its end result. Your work as case managers is a major part of the overall recovery effort and you should be proud that your voice is being heard. We must all continue to increase the volume of our voices through what we are able to produce during the case management process. Thanks for all you do!

Blessings,

Stephen
