Happy New Year! It is certainly getting off to a great start for the Mississippi Case Management Consortium. Much has been accomplished since the inception of the program in August, and our latest monthly report shows that our case managers have been doing some hard work over the last several months. As we enter into this next phase of operations, I encourage you to continue to pay attention to the details in your work with clients, particularly in the development of recovery plans. Clients will need the best possible plans upon which to rely, once our work moves toward closure. An agency director on a recent conference call encouraged us all to remember to “be in the field with clients as much as possible.” I could not agree more! After all, case management is a hands-on process, and we certainly need to remain engaged in this work for as long as we are able. The leadership and field management teams are hard at work on your behalf as we advocate for this program moving forward and we ask that you as case managers continue to advocate for your clients by working hard to capture the details of your work in the database, reports, and conversations that you have with us over the coming months. Thank you, once again, for all of your dedication to the clients you serve.
Blessings, Stephen |
