As of late, there has been a relatively large number of new stories related to the recovery efforts along the Gulf Coast. Some of those stories have referenced our MCMC project. I want to encourage you all to keep up the hard work that you are doing on behalf of those who have been impacted. It is obvious to us all that there are a great number of barriers that families are still facing and your assessment, planning, advocacy, linking and monitoring functions continue to play a vital role in assisting clients to overcome those barriers.

Your efforts are certainly showing up on your agencies’ monthly reports, as we are gathering a great deal of useful information and data that we will continue to use in our advocacy efforts at the state and Federal levels.
