Q. Can (2) staff members share a combined position?  For ex: The AA & Receptionist positions were combined.  So, would two people be able to share that position?

A. Please refer to IV.  Project Budget, Page 3 of the RFA (section quoted above)

Two people could share the position with the following restrictions.  If the budget allows for one (1.0 FTE) position for the combined jobs, each person would only be half time (0.5 FTE).  If the formula were to generate 1.5 FTE, each person could be 0.75 FTE, or however the affiliate chooses to split the position, for example:

1.  0.75 FTE + 0.75 FTE = 1.5 FTE
2.  1.0 FTE + 0.5 FTE = 1.5 FTE
3.  0.80 FTE + 0.70 FTE = 1.5 FTE

Positions, the number of positions, and the funding for each position will depend on final grant negotiations between the Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service and FEMA.
