Question: When assigning clients to the case managers a few of the existing cases we had that are on MCMC list are already in their permanent housing which completed their existing recovery plan. One client in particular does not want to complete more paperwork because she is in permanent housing and her existing case is ready to be closed. Does the case manager still need to do the MCMC paperwork or can she complete it from our existing file even if the client doesn't sign the MCMC paperwork? Answer: All MCMC cases must have MCMC paperwork and client signatures on them. Case managers can certainly utilize forms completed under other programs as an aid in filling out MCMC paperwork, but all paperwork should reflect the current recovery goals and needs of the client as this is a new and very targeting case management program. |
